An Ingoldmells takeaway’s new owners have been praised for transforming an unhygienic, rodent infested premises into a fully approved restaurant.
The former owner of the Panda Chinese takeaway at Fantasy Island had been found guilty of 11 food hygiene offences and sold the business after being fined more than £5,000.
East Lindsey district Council has since congratulated the new owners for working with the authority to reach the standards required to operate.
The council’s portfolio holder for food Coun Sandra Harrison said: “We are pleased that the new owners of Panda Chinese takeaway are successfully running the business with the food safety legislation set out to safeguard the public’s health. We wish the new owners every success in the future.”
