Southview Park Leisure’s all-year-round occupancy plan refused
Southview Park Leisure’s application for all-year-round site occupancy was refused at East Lindsey District Council’s planning committee meeting last week.
Planning committee vice-chairman Coun Steve O’Dare, speaking after the meeting, said that councillors had opposed the application on flood risk grounds.
The proposal for 12 month occupancy also conflicted with the council’s draft coastal strategy to prohibit caravan site licenses during flood-prone winter months from the end of October to March.
