Skegness & Spilsby solicitors join Will Aid fundraiser
SOLICITORS in Skegness and Spilsby have signed up for the annual Will Aid charity fundraiser.
The Sills & Betteridge branches in the two towns will be offering to write wills in November without charging their normal fee.
All they are asking is that people consider making a donation to Will Aid.
“This simple scheme allows you to get your affairs in order and help people in need around the world at the same time,” said a spokesperson for the charity.
“The suggested minimum donation is £90 for a single will, £135 for mirror wills or £40 for a codicil or change to a previous will.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to get an affordable will drawn up or updated by an expert.
“Call a participating solicitor as soon as you can.
“Demand for Will Aid is bound to be high and you need to book your appointment for November as early as possible to ensure that you can take part in the scheme,” they added.
The money raised is shared by nine UK charities that carry out life-changing work in the UK and around the world - including Age UK, Christian Aid and Save the Children.
Other charities include the NSPCC, ActionAid, British Red Cross and Sightsavers.
