A dedicated manager at a popular chain restaurant in Skegness is celebrating after scooping a highly sought after accolade for the company.

Branch manager Sue Ovington, for Pizza Hut in Heath Road, who has worked for the company for the last seven years, was nominated for her managerial skills and accomplishment in reaching her targets by the company.

Now Sue will celebrate at a luxurious bash hosted by Pizza Hut in London on March 27, when she will be presented with a plaque naming her the restaurant manager of the year.

“I was really happy when I found out I’d won, it’s a great privilege and I couldn’t have done it without my fantastic team here at the branch,” said Sue Ovington.

Sue has worked at the town branch for the last six years and has achieved a number of awards.

“It’s the staff that work so hard, you can’t run a restaurant without them and I want to express my thanks to all of them. We have got a great little branch and it shows even smaller stores can win great awards,” she added.
