A crash simulator car helped teach students at John Spendluffe Technology College in Alford about the hazards of Lincolnshire’s roads during a recent safety session held at the school.

Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership used the specially converted Peugeot 206, which simulates the effects of a crash, to teach 116 of the school’s students how to be safe in a vehicle and which dangers to look out for on the roads.

A spokesperson for the school said: “It is hoped that this session will have made our students safer and more aware when they become young drivers.”
