A gardening shop which proved popular in the Hildreds Centre in Skegness over Christmas has returned.
During their festive season stint staff at the Woodthorpe Garden Centre used their time there to ask the centre’s shoppers what they really wanted from the store.
The garden centre has now returned and has made sure that the products shoppers asked for are included in its range.
Tasha Virgo, the store’s manager, asked her staff to speak to as many shoppers as possible to find out what they wanted with a view to return with the products requested.
“We’re stocking gifts, garden and household tools and furniture, some plants and a selection of weed, feed and control products,” said Tasha
“I really wanted to ensure that we came back to the centre and gave shoppers exactly what they wanted. The store will be perfect for those who aren’t able to travel to our garden centre in Alford and a great convenience for those short of time.”
Hildreds deputy centre manager, Steve Andrews, said: “Woodthorpe Garden Centre has really pulled out all the stops to make sure our shoppers’ requests are catered for. We are really pleased to see them back at the centre.”
The store has taken on three additional staff.
