AN ANNUAL guide book which promotes Skegness, the East Coast and the surrounding hinter lands, was officially launched at a celebratory event on Friday.
Many dignitaries from the surrounding area attended the event held at Gunby Hall, as well as representatives from SECWHA, (Skegness East Coast and Wolds Hospitality Association) and East Lindsey District Council, among others.
Nigel Tett, Chairman for SECWHA, said: “It is a first class brochure which will help bring a lot of trade to the area this forthcoming season.”
It is also the second year of a partnership between SECWHA and ELDC. Skegness Mayor Steve Kirk thinks this is a good thing, which will continue to link businesses in the area and help to share marketing ideas.
“It is a very slick professional document which will enhance Skegness, the East coast and Wolds.
“It looks the part and it looks like we mean business,” added Coun Steve Kirk.
The Mayor also thought the information featured inside, including website links to attractions in the area, would help in bring more people to the area.
The guide will be available from the new year from tourist information centres and more.
