Name Fantasy Island’s new play area and win a year’s free pass
Standard readers have been invited to name Fantasy Island's new play area.
A family friendly themepark is offering youngsters the chance to name its fantastic new play area for a chance to win a year’s free pass to the resort.
Fantasy Island’s new space themed play area will be opening at the resort’s iconic Pyramid attraction in the coming weeks, offering hours of fun to children aged three to 11.
A Fantasy Island spokesperson said: “Not only will your kids be able to run wild in the new play area, they could also be in with a chance of naming it.
“We’re running a competition in the Skegness Standard to help us name the attraction.
“The winner will receive a free annual pass for the 2013 season and be invited to officially open the play area.”
The new play area, will be available on the wristband offer during the low season, in a bid to provide more value for money and help keep the kids entertained for longer.
It forms part of a whole host of exciting new attractions Fantasy Island has added to the resort for the enjoyment of its thousands of visitors.
The Bucking Bronco ride, which proved popular during last year’s Halloween Extravaganza, has been installed as a permanent attraction and the thrilling Wall of Death, featuring up to three bikers careering round a near vertical wall at breakneck speeds.
“It has to be seen to be believed!” the spokesperson added.
To enter the competition, simply pick up a copy of this week’s Standard and complete the form with your suggested name for the play area.
Completed forms should be sent to: Skegness Standard, Unit 22, The Hildreds, Skegness, PE25 3NU.
Children must be aged between three and 11 to enter.
Fantasy Island’s market opened on weekends from March 2, and the rides will be open the weekend of March 16 before both are available seven days a week from March 23.
