Keith’s Rescue Dogs charity visits school

Year nine business studies students at John Spendluffe Technology College in Alford had a lesson with a difference from the Keith’s Rescue Dogs charity.

Jack the alsation/akita cross was taken in by volunteer carer Rosemary White, who talked to the group about Jack’s temporary home with Keith’s Rescue Dogs.

The students have been learning about the different types of businesses/organisations in the UK and have
recently discovered

Rosemary answered the students’ questions concerning the charity, including how it started, how the volunteers raise their money and how that money is budgeted and spent.

Jack was abandoned, left tied to a fence post and was in a terrible condition but after lots of care and attention from the charity he is now ready to go to a new loving home.

The students looked at Jack’s friends on Keith’s website and are now planning an event to help raise funds to support the charity.
