Go ahead for 15 holiday lodges on land in Croft

Farmer and renewable energy entrepreneur Tim Spencer has been given the planning green light to site 15 holiday lodges on land at The Hollies off High Lane in Croft.

At an East Lindsey District Council planning meeting, members were impressed with the proposed development which will sit adjacent to two wind turbines and a solar panel park which is currently under construction.

“This project has been well thought through,”enthused Coun Dick Edginton.

Committee chairman Coun Neil Cooper was also impressed and expressed the hope that some of the prospective holidaymakers would use shops at nearby Burgh le Marsh.

The committee heard that the site will be landscaped and hidden from view so as not to mar the surrounding landscape.
