Coastal Country Park overnight camping by-law sought
A by-law could be enacted to prevent coastal car park visitors camping overnight and annoying neighbours with ‘excessive noise.’
Lincolnshire County Council has been gathering evidence about camper vans and caravans, which stay for ‘weeks or months’ at car parking in its Coastal Country Park.
Senior environmental services officer Kate Percival told the council’s environmental scrutiny committee that the problem affected Huttoft Car Terrace, Marsh Yard and Wolla Bank.
Enough evidence to enact the by-law enforcing the no parking rule had been gathered for two of the three car parks, which Ms Percival hoped would be carried out shortly.
