ONE lucky National Lottery player in East Lindsey is sitting on an unclaimed ticket worth over £57,000, it has been revealed.
The huge Lotto prize was won on Saturday, May 26 - but more than two weeks later it still remains unclaimed.
The search is now on to see if the lucky winner will turn up.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”
The winning ticket matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the draw on May 26.
The winning numbers were 2, 6, 7, 15, 25, 44 and the bonus ball was 45.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
