AN ALFORD food store is set to hold fun games and samples as part of its commitment to Fairtrade Fortnight.
The Lincolnshire Co-operative will be holding sessions at a number of its stores in the county, with one planned for Alford on Saturday from 9.30am to noon.
“Teams of staff will be out and about at the various stores creating a hive of activity,” said a spokesperson.
“There will be prizes up for grabs when shoppers take a spin on the Fairtrade Wheel of Fortune, a kids trail for the little ones and the chance for customers to take their own step for Fairtrade and win a food hamper.”
Free samples of Fairtrade cake will also be on offer, as well as recipe cards for people to take away and try their hand at baking white chocolate sponge cakes.
