A SCHOOL in Skegness is set to receive £300 in new books thanks to the generosity of a business in the town.
New York Italian restaurant, Little Frankie’s in the Hildreds Shopping Centre is set to fund the books for The Richmond School under a county-wide scheme.
In total Frankie & Benny’s has purchased over 300 books for primary schools across parts of Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties.
“As a responsible business we look beyond being a restaurant, and actively seek to play a positive part in the communities we serve. Education has always been important to Frankie & Benny’s,” said the firm’s Fiona Gooch. “Our restaurants regularly host pizza making workshops for school pupils – and therefore we feel that supporting local schools in this way is a logical step to take”.
