A boy was airlifted to hospital from the Skegness area on Sunday after a fall.

The action was taken by the emergency medical charity Magpas, which described the fall as ‘serious’.

The incident took place shortly after noon. It saw the Magpas team provide the boy, who had sustained a leg injury, with advanced pain relief while it worked alongside the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Magpas flew the boy to the Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, where his condition was given as stable.
