Chapel St Leonards based Blue Anchor Leisure Limited has announced the purchase of a static caravan park close to Skegness.

The acquisition of Croft Bank Holiday Park will add to the existing 15 caravan and leisure parks under the company’s ownership.

This is the second caravan park acquisition that Blue Anchor have made in the last 18 months they have also extended three more existing caravan parks.

The Wainfleet road family business was established in the early 1980s and is a high quality owners park which will continue to operate as a family concern under the Blue Anchor banner.

With provisions for luxury static caravans Croft Bank is a comprehensive country park with onsite facilities which feature a dedicated child’s play area and fishing pond.

A statement from the company said: “The directors of Blue Anchor Leisure Limited are extremely pleased with the latest acquisition, which compliments and adds to the existing 15 caravan and leisure parks under their ownership.

“The company directors say they have had to make these purchases and extensions to keep up with the demand they face for the quality products they offer. The modern day caravan purchaser is looking for better quality caravans, sited in better parks with more landscaping and space.

“With a constant refurbishment program on all of the sites the company has created a further 40 permanent full time position within the group and continues to invest with growing confidence for the future along the east coast.”
