Officers are warning people to ‘be vigilant’ of raves in remote rural areas and woodland areas across Lincolnshire this Easter Bank Holiday.

A Lincolnshire Alert sent out by PCSO Colin Ironmonger, of Sleaford Rural South, Sleaford Station, said that bank holidays are periods where organised raves had occured.

He said: “Signs to be aware of are an increase in vehicles in the area, possibly full of young people and any large vans, these are used for carrying equipment.”

“Farmers are advised to block access to remote buildings and check possible areas,” he added.

Anyone who spots suspicious activity is asked to call the Lincolnshire Police non-emergency number 101.
