SKEGNESS man Barrie Richards passed away in March at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. He was 81.
A widower, he was born in Pleasley (Mansfield).
He worked as a coal miner until 1984 and was a member of the Ex-Servicemen’s Club in Skegness until September last year.
He had lived in Skegness for 21 years.
He was a member of the Ex-Servicemen’s Crib Club.
He is survived by his sisters, Jean, Josie, Port, children, Denise, Maureen, Wendy, Brian, Jilly, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
His funeral was held at Alford Crematorium in late March. Funeral directors were Skegness and District. Officiating clergy was Christine Anderson. Mourners were his family and friends.
