A DRIVING instructor was ‘lost for words’ after two of his students achieved rarely seen flawless test scores in quick succession.
Fast Lane Driving School’s Sean Pidgeon was ‘over the moon’ when he first contacted the Standard in December after his student Ngodup Phuntsok completed a perfect driving test.
But when 19-year-old Jack Blease achieved the same rare feat just four months, Sean was completely knocked for six.
He said: “I could not believe it! I was so pleased for him that he had managed to pass first time with no minor faults.
“It rarely happens, so to see it happen twice is just amazing.”
And Jack was equally pleased to have received his driving licence under such auspicious circumstances.
He said: “I did not know what to say, I was stuck for words and couldn’t believe I got no minor faults.
“Sean is a great instructor because he builds your confidence and gives you all the right advice.”
