Thanks to volunteer support from local Ingoldmells residents Age UK Lindsey will host a Coffee morning at The Royal Arthur Centre in Ingoldmells on Wednesday, October 15 from 10am.
Volunteers will be serving refreshments and delicious homemade cakes.
Members of Age UK Lindsey will be on hand to answer queries on the charities services available and offer general advice on a wide range of issues affecting older people.
Over the last year the Age UK Lindsey Information and Advice service has identified in excess of £2 million in unclaimed benefit for older people in East and West Lindsey.
Philiipa Haresign Chief Officer said: “This is our first Coffee Morning we are holding with the kind cooperation of local residents and Coun Paula Chapman. We hope locals in Ingoldmells will find it both enjoyable and informative and hopefully we will be holding more Coffee Mornings in Ingoldmells in the future.“
Wiltshire Farm Foods and Healthwatch will also be in attendance.
