Business students at King Edward VI Academy, Spilsby, had done a top job when they opened their A-Level and vocational qualifications today.
Jo Myhill-Johnson, Associate Principal, said: “Our Sixth Form students have worked extremely hard this year and I am incredibly proud of them.
“I am particularly pleased that every student that studied Business achieved at least a Distinction grade, with many going on to secure a Distinction*. We also saw some fantastic individual achievements, with students going the extra mile to achieve their personal best.
“Many of our young people will now go on to the university and college destinations of their choice and I wish them all the very best for the future.”
Jordan Smith, who secured 1 Distinction*, 1A and 1C grade, will now go on to read Geography at the University of East Anglia. Jordan said: “I was up most of the night with nerves about the results today, but it is a big weight off my shoulders that I have got the grades I needed.”
Ellie Wilkinson achieved top grades in Business and Sport to confirm her place studying Events Management at Leeds Beckett University. She said: “I’m relieved that the wait is over. All the extra revision and work after school has obviously paid off.”
Charlie Jackson also got the grades needed to read Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Essex. He said: “I’m really pleased and I know my parents are very proud of me.
“I’m looking forward to starting my course, meeting new people and gaining new experiences at university.”
