Thursday, 12.36pm - AN unprovoked attack in Lumley Road, Skegness, left a man with an injury to his left eye on Saturday, July 26.
At around 12.30am a 38-year-old local man was approached outside the HSBC bank by two men, one of whom lashed out and punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

There are no descriptions of the men, but the victim required hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Becky Manson said: "This was a nasty incident where a member of the public was attacked for no apparent reason. The streets of Skegness would have been busy at the time and I'm sure that several people must have witnessed the assault although they may not have known exactly what was going on.

"I am determined to arrest the offender and would like anyone who has any information about the incident to get in touch with me at Skegness Police Station.

Information: PC Manson at Skegness Police Station, tel, 01754 762222, or Crimestoppers anonymously, tel, 0800 555111.
