Tortoise worth £1,000 stolen from pet shop

A TORTOISE valued at around £1,000 was stolen from the Animal World pet store, in Roman Bank, Skegness, between 8.30am-5.30pm last Saturday.
The Horsfield tortoise, named Benny, was in a display when it was taken. Benny is six years old and is described as seven inches long and four inches wide, with a distinctive growth skirt around his back end and a distinctive bottom jaw.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the the theft or may know the whereabouts of the stolen tortoise.
