Thieves target Chapel St Leonards caravans

Monday, 9.22am -CARAVANS at the Beeches caravan park, Trunch Lane, Chapel St Leonards, were targeted by thieves looking for televisions overnight on Wednesday.
Each of the caravans was broken into by forcing a door, window or smashing glass and police would like to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity, individuals or vehicles at the caravan park since Saturday, September 27, but particularly overnight on Wednesday.


A caravan at the Kings Oak caravan park in Trunch Lane was broken into overnight on Thursday and a black handbag and its contents were stolen.


The thieves used a large iron post to smash a window and police would like to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity or individuals at the site.
