Tuesday, 4.15pm - POWER is already being produced by the turbines off the coast of Skegness.
Centrica is gradually putting up the turbines, six at a time as they over come from Denmark, and people have already spotted some of them turning.

Mike Dennehy, of Centrica, said: "One or two of them have had bursts of power as they build them.

"When they put them in they are tested to see if they are working, but until they are all in we won't get the full power."

Some of the power produced by the turbines has already gone to the electricty grid, but it is nothing compared to the full 180MW capability of the Lynn and Inner Dowsing wind farms once they have been completed.

It is believed the farms will provide around 130,000 homes with power. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
