Teachers ready for drinking crackdown in Skegness

Tuesday, 5pm: IN a 'bold move' to protect vulnerable young adults and tackle underage drinking, teachers will join police officers to identify pupils drinking in Skegness' pubs.
Two teachers from St Clement's College, Skegness, will join officer over the Easter holidays to visit licensed premises as a direct result of complaints from parents of children at all schools in the area.

Sector inspector at Skegness Terry Ball said this was the first time such a step had been taken in the town.

He said: "We have a good relationship with the schools. Their concerns are young people with regards to vulnerabilites with drinking alcohol.
