Sunday, 9am: YOUNG carers from Skegness and around the county had a day off from their duties around the home and enjoyed a big day out at Fantasy Island.
For 18 of the 60 youngsters it was a chance to shine in a talent show and they took to the stage with a variety of skills, including playing the violin, dancing and yo-yo tricks.

Peter Duxbury, Lincolnshire County Council's director of children's services, was a special guest at the event, which was organised by Action for Young Carers.

He also revealed a hidden talent by playing the guitar.
Also on the bill were professional entertainers, including Brit Chix, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent.

Emily Jarvis, activities coordinator for Action for Young Carers, said the day was a treat for young people who spend much of their time looking after a parent or family member who is ill or disabled.
