Skegness Junior School wins Investors in People award

Friday, 9.52am - SKEGNESS Junior School has won an Investors in People award for the staffs' dedication to pupils and the effectiveness of the school.

The report said: "All the improvements made and the high level of involvement of everyone in all areas of responsibility make the team at

Skegness Junior School very effective; staff take a huge pride in working at the school and genuinely love their work.

"The school has made tremendous progress from its starting point and the findings of this assessment are a credit to the whole team."

The award comes on top of the Financial Management Standards Award the school achieved two months ago.

Head teacher Tom Smith said: "This is fantastic recognition of the truly excellent team at Skegness Junior School. We are very proud the team is making such a fantastic difference to every child.

"The award recognises how brilliant the team is, and the huge positive impact we have with our pupils."
