Sunday, 9am - A BOSTON branch of the Royal Anglian Regiment Association could be formed at an association meeting at the Conservative Club, Main Ridge, Boston, on Thursday, October, 22, at 7pm.
The association held a meeting in Boston at the end of September to get the branch, which would cover the Skegness, Boston and Spalding area, started and is hoping to elect a provisional committee at the meeting.

Anyone who has been associated with the regiment, the former regiments, the Territorial Army, the existing Royal Lincolnshire and Royal Anglian Regiment Association or the county cadet force is welcome to attend.

Visitors are also invited to take along items for a raffle prize and members and ex-members of other regiments are welcome to join the association as associate members.

The association will discuss how the association will operate in the next few months and how it can raise sufficient working capital through fundraising events.

At this time there is no intention to introduce a branch membership fee, and the association plans to use the Drill Hall in Main Ridge, Boston, for meetings.
