Wednesday, 5pm: SURVIVAL kits for natural disasters were the topic of discussion at the latest Skegness Rotary Club meeting.
Rotarian Duncan Moffatt talked about shelter boxes, which provide shelter to people for a minimum of six months.

The boxes contain a 10-person tent and usually fulfil basic needs, including blankets, cooking equipment, water containers, a basic tool kit and a children's pack. ShelterBox was set up by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard, Cornwall, and 55 per cent of funding is raised by Rotary clubs around the country.
