Wednesday, 2.12pm - ARCHITECTURE and how it can enhance the environment has been considered by pupils from Ingoldmells Primary School and Skegness Junior School.
The children took part in the fifth Architecture Meets Jazz event led by the Royal Institute of British Architects to get children involved with building design.

This year, seven schools took part in the Lincolnshire Society of Architects' Waterworld project.

Pupils researched and designed a building for the future which had to be able to withstand being built in a flood-risk area.

The children were mentored by RIBA architects and students from the University of Lincoln.

They were gathered together during an exhibition at the Engine Shed, Lincoln, organised by New Jazz 5, architects and RIBA East Midlands.

The models were judged by senior architecture lecturer at the University of Lincoln Carlos Marquez and Jo and Mark Hodson, of Hodson Architects, Cleethorpes.

Ancaster Primary School was announced the winner.

There were also performances by Lincoln's Youth Jazz Orchestra Jaz Vehicle, Dave O'Higgins and his Biggish Band, and Jazzotech Dancers.
