Saturday, 1pm - NEW mobile libraries have been introduced to Lincolnshire which will reduce the county council's carbon footprint.
The three green mobiles have solar panels which will help save energy, and have replaced older models which had finished their contracts.

Executive portfolio holder for cultural services Coun Eddy Poll said: "The new mobiles have some great new features such as a flat-screen television and a meeting area with a sofa.

"There are also energy-saving solar panels fitted to the vehicles to power the lighting, and there is a screened-off area for people to hold surgery sessions.

"The general layout has been improved, making access easier for the customer."

The mobiles, which are decorated with striking artwork, will cover routes in East Lindsey, South Kesteven, South Holland and Boston.
