Man jailed for assaulting his partner

Friday, 5.22pm - A 42-year-old man found guilty of assaulting his partner by beating at an Ingoldmells caravan site has been jailed for 24 weeks.
Charles Williams, of Scawthorpe, Doncaster, had been living at Priory Park Caravan Site in Ingoldmells on March 22 this year, at the time of the assault on his then partner Elaine Newey.


He was found guilty of the offence following a trial.


Skegness magistrates jailed Williams for 24 weeks and ordered him to pay £250 compensation to the complainant.
