Housing trust plan supported by Skegness councillors

Friday, 9.55am - PLANS by New Linx Housing Trust to replace garages in Barnes Road, Skegness, with a pair of semi-detached houses were supported by Skegness councillors.

Skegness Town Council's planning committee also recommended the following applications for approval in Skegness:

* To build an extension to provide a double attached garage at 24 Saxby Avenue, by N Coley.

* To build an aircraft and maintenance storage area at Skegness Water Leisure Park, Walls Lane, by Skegness Aero Club.

* To display an illuminated sign and two faschia signs at 32 Roman Bank, by Halifax Bank of Scotland.

* To provide an additional first floor bedroom and to raise the roof at 12 Marine Avenue, by D Hawkins.

* To continue to use ground floor premises at the rear of 96 Lumley Road as a tattoo parlour, by Black Orchid 3.

* To display 13 non-illuminated signs and one illuminated sign at JJ's hotel and restaurant, Firbeck Avenue, by R Clennell.

* To retain a disabled ramp at 19 Ida Road, by First College.

* To provide a lean-to porch at D54 Cedar Lake, Southview Leisure Park, by R Froggatt.

* To build two pairs of semi-detached bungalows with detached garages, eight houses and one pair of semi-detached houses at plots 29-40 The Chase, by Chestnut Homes.

* To add a conservatory to a static caravan at Southview Leisure Park, by Mr Reason.

East Lindsey District Council will make the final decisions.
