Heroin seized in Operation Fusion searches in Skegness

Tuesday, 2.52pm - A LARGE quantity of heroin was seized from a Skegness home on Thursday as police crack down on drugs offences in the town.
Lincolnshire Police launched Operation Fusion to combat drug offences in the county and two men and a woman were arrested in Skegness on Thursday afternoon.


Adam John Aldred, 40, and Nicola Jane Hackney, 32, both of Ellis Court, were charged at Skegness Police Station with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and supply of Class A drugs.


Police seized heroin from the address on Thursday after issuing a warrant to search the premises.


They were remanded in custody at Skegness Magistrates Court on Friday until August 14.


A 36-year-old man was also arrested on Thursday in Cavendish Road through a stop search and a quantity of heroin, estimated to have a street value of around £180, was seized.


The man was released pending further enquiries.
