Monday, 1pm - PLANS to turn a family home into three flats in Drummond Road, Skegness, were recommended for approval by Skegness Town Council's planning committee.
Councillors supported Mr K Byfield's plans, but Coun Neil Cooper requested more information on how many parking spaces there will be.

The home used to be a guest house so Coun Ken MIlner asked whether planning policy still regarded it as serviced accomodation, or if it had been legally changed when the original conversion was done.

He said: "If that's all in order, I can't see a problem."

Other plans recommended for approval in Skegness were:

* Mr S Blenkiron, a retrospective application to keep a rear extension to house two refrigerator units and for the installation of three air conditioning units at Subway in Lumley Road. The plans were approved subject to a noise assessment.

* Mr and Mrs J Wilson, to extend and alter a home to provide two dormer windows at 326 Drummond Road.

* Miss V Bullock, to add a conservatory and decking to a static caravan at 31 The Orchard, Southview Leisure Park.

Mr S Godbehere, to extend a bungalow to include an attached single garage, three bedrooms, two en-suites, and balcony at 10 Frederica Road.

* Ladbrokes, to alter shop front to include new glazing, doors and a ramped access with security shutters, and three signs. Plans approved subject to checks the canopy over the shop is not listed.

East Lindsey District Council will decide if the plans are approved or not.
