Tuesday, 2.35pm - THE go ahead has been given to extend the industrial estates in Skegness and Alford by East Lindsey District Council.
The two schemes will cost a total of around £3.2 million and will take place over a number of years.

ELDC will pay £618,000 towards the Skegness project and £565,000 towards the Beechings Estate in Alford. Match funding will be sought from other agencies to find the rest of the money.

The Skegness project will involve adding 15 more acres to the Wainfleet Road estate, and at Alford 15 acres will also be bought.

The council hopes the extension of the industrial areas will encourage significant economic growth for the both towns.
