Sunday, 9am: BUTLINS worker Ethan Bukater has proved he's a smooth operator by winning the first ever British Smoothie Championships, held in London.
Ethan, who orginally hails from Birmingham, has lived in Skegness for two years and won the competition with a secret recipe devised by colleague Jason Birch.

In front of a judging panel made up of representatives from some of the UK's top smoothie producers, Ethan prepared his winning drink.

He said: "I was a bit nervous during the competition heats as there were some big names entering. But as the competition went on I became more confident that Jason and I had a blend that would be a match for anyone."

Ethan and Jason's winning recipe consists of raspberry, strawberries, blackberries and yoghurt with a cinnamon taste. In winning the title Ethan took home £350 cash and a blender from Usmoothie worth £800.
