Monday, 9.52am - THE Funk Bus is about to be released on the district to bring play activities to rural communities without a youth centre.
East Lindsey District Council has developed the £260,000 bus to give youngsters access to fun activities.

The bus is brightly painted using fun and original designs from students across the district.

The bus is believed to be one of kind, particularly in the East Midlands, and contains some of the latest technology, including a Nintendo Wii, PCs, a stereo system, dance mat, Playstation 3 and an area to watch films.

The Funk Bus will be formally launched on Calendar News on May 30, but is going on a tour of the district prior to its official unveiling.

The bus visited Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Alford, on Monday and will go to Skegness Grammar School on Tuesday, June 3.
