Friday, 11am: HOW much to do a good deed that may last a lifetime?
Today, Friday, at The Hildreds Centre, Skegness, karma costs only £1.

That's how much All Saints Church of Orby is asking patrons to pay for a slate for their badly needed new roof.

Suffering after thieves stripped lead from their roof five times, the church wardens will sit at The Hildreds from 9am to 3pm and accept donations.

For £1 doners will have their name entered into a register which will be placed on display at All Saints.

On August 21 the church will hold a further fund-raiser in Burgh le Marsh called 'Slate and a Plate', where food and raffles will also be on offer.
