Travellers will find the world at their fingertips at the Go Global travel show hosted by Lincolnshire Co-op at the University of Lincoln.
From Machu Picchu to Kilimanjaro, providers will be on hand on Wednesday, November 12 to help people plan the trip of a lifetime – and it’s not just for students!
Lincolnshire Co-op’s Travel Group manager Wayne Dennet, is keen to emphasise that the show is open to people of all ages and from all walks of life.
He said: “We know that people’s sense of adventure doesn’t wane as they get older. It’s never too late to jump on a plane and travel somewhere you’ve always wanted to go.”
Focusing on active holidays, the show will provide opportunities to speak to specialists, get advice on visas and even listen to talks from experts on teaching English abroad. There will also be competitions, activities and much more to get involved in, as well as exclusive special offers.
Taking place on the first floor of the university’s Atrium building, the show will also include the opportunity to win prizes in a game of travel-themed Plinko.
The show will run from 10am until 3pm, but those who can’t make it needn’t worry – just pop in to any one of Lincolnshire Co-op’s 13 travel branches and chat to one of the friendly travel advisors.
“More and more people these days are choosing to spend their money on memorable holidays,” added Wayne. “An experience you’ll remember forever is priceless – and at the travel show, we’ll have everything you need on hand to help you plan an unforgettable trip.”
