The world of the 70s is set to be brought back to life in vivid style this weekend when the Bay City Rollers Story comes to Skegness.
The Embassy Theatre will play host to this nostalgic look back at a memorable era this Sunday, November 11 at 7.30pm.
“In 1974 the world was to witness a new musical phenomenon,” said a spokesperson. “The music of the Bay City Rollers became a soundtrack for a generation of teenagers in the mid 70s.
“The face and voice of that soundtrack belonged to Les McKeown. With Les leading the way, the band’s singles and albums shot to the number one spot all over the globe.
“The Bay City Rollers Story is a celebration of those hectic days. Les McKeown has come through the extreme highs and lows of life’s great road and he is here to tell us all about it. All the hit songs are there and audiences are promised a fantastic night of fun and nostalgia.”
Tickets are £21 (£19 over 60s and children). Call 0845 674 0505 for information.
