Fans of the music of the 70s are in for a treat this week when a special charity concert in aid of the National Autistic Society rolls into Skegness.
Famous 70s star Alvin Stardust will be among the acts at ‘Rewind to the 70s’ in the Embassy Theatre this Friday at 7.30pm.
“Dust off your platforms and dig out your flares for a glam night of fantastic 70s sounds featuring the one and only Alvin Stardust,” said a spokesperson.
“The chart-topping leather-clad 70s rocker is still giving it his all.
“Alvin will be performing his rock and roll classics, jazz and swing standards, seventies anthems and music that has influenced him throughout his five decade career.
“This great 70s night also features two amazing bands - Slyde with their glamtastic tribute to Slade, and Quo Motion with their rockin’ tribute to Status Quo,” they added.
Tickets cost £16.50 for adults, £15.50 for over 60s and £10 for children.
