Time came to hand over the reins for Skegness Lions president Tony Crowther in July 2004 as he welcomed the new man to the job of leading the fundraising organisation, writes photographer Ben Hardaker.

Norman Barker (right) from Burgh was the new president and this was his second term of office, the first being in 1996.

Mr Barker was an ex-fire fighter, Burgh councillor and worked as a wedding photographer when not helping Lions to raise money for charity.

The ceremony took place at Greenacres in Ingoldmells as members gathered to enjoy an evening meal to celebrate the event.
