THE Northcote Heavy Horse Centre is set to jump back in time this weekend when it holds a medieval banquet chock full of mouth-watering feasts and spectacular entertainment.
The event will take place on the evening of Saturday, July 21 from 6.15pm to 10.30pm, with a feast from 7.15pm.
The banquet will include everything from a hog roast and licensed bar as well as starter and pudding.
Entertainment will include mounted skill at arms, fire-breathing, jesters, trapeze, medieval dancing, and other entertainment and games designed to make the event a “fun family evening out”.
Medival dress is optional for the feast. Special guest Jim Sutcliffe, Britain’s young butcher of the year, will also be on hand during the festivities.
Tickets for the event cost £20 for adults and £15 for children aged five to 14-years-old.
Tickets are on sale now and can be booked online or by phone, but must be booked and paid for in advance.
Northcote Heavy Horse Centre is located on the B1195, three miles off the A16 near Spilsby.
