Hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of the Hildreds Shopping Centre’s plans for the festive season comes news of an all new addition to their Christmas plans.
Staff will kick off the festivities at the centre by launching their very first Interactive Colouring Book.
From tomorrow (Thursday) youngsters can go online to the centre’s website, click the link and colour in any of the 24 different Christmas scenes by choosing the colours they want or dress Santa up in lots of different outfits by dragging and dropping different clothes and accessories on to him.
Kids can then share their masterpieces with their friends and family via social media sites or email simply by clicking the share button. They can also download and print them off.
The colouring book also features a Christmas countdown clock and a letter from Santa can be requested and will be emailed to the recipient.
Deputy centre manager at the Hildreds, Steve Andrews, said: “We really wanted to do something a little bit different for youngsters this Christmas.
“And with the majority using emails and social media we wanted to create something that would appeal to them and that they could have a bit of fun with.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the different creations!”
