National comic treasure Joe Pasquale returns to Skegness this week when he plays Sherlock Holmes in a three-man comedy show that has wowed critics.
‘Ha Ha Holmes! The Hound of the Baskervilles’ rolls into the Embassy Theatre on Friday, October 25 at 7.30pm.
And organisers are promising a “downright hilarious” evening for all.
“There’s a beast on the moors, a crime to be solved, and with the Ha Ha team on the case what can go right?!?!” said a spokesperson.
“You’d be absolutely barking to miss this pipe-smoking new show from theatre’s funniest parodists as Holmes and Watson embark on their most dangerous adventure yet... hunting down The Hound of the Baskervilles!
“It’s elementary! It’s also downright hilarious as comedy national treasure Joe Pasquale takes on the role of Sherlock Holmes.
“As one of the UK’s top stand ups Joe brings mirthful merriness to proceedings, but will he be skating on thin ice?
“With Ben Langley as Doctor Watson and Andrew Fettes as everyone else, this sure-fire wonderfully ridiculous show is well worth an investigation.
“Has the Baskerville beast bitten off more than it can chew when confronted by our crime stopping team? Will Holmes find his Deerstalker and will the Deer be happy when he does?
“Stick some shag in your pipe and visit 221b Baker Street for the most gripping comedy thriller of the age,” they added.
The show has been hailed by The Stage as “a real laugh out loud evening” and “as clever as it is witty”.
Tickets cost £20.50 for adults, £18.50 for over 60s and £11 for children.
