THERE are a whole host of bonfire and fireworks celebrations planned in the Skegness and Spilsby area this November 5.
Among the festivities will be a ‘Firework Extravaganza’ at the Royal Hotel in South Parade, Skegness.
It will start at 7.30pm on Saturday, November 5. Entry is free (subject to a charity donation) and donations on the night will go to local Rotarian charities.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Other attractions include hot food, a children’s play room with indoor bouncy castle and fun sumo suits for ages 11 and under.
Elsewhere, Spilsby’s Rotarians will be holding their own fireworks fun with a display to the rear of Queen Street in Spilsby. It will take place from 6pm onwards, again on November 5.
And Spilsby Round Table has a large fireworks display planned for the Lyndhurst Garden Centre in Burgh le Marsh.
A massive bonfire will be lit at 7pm, and more than £5,000 worth of fireworks will be set off at 7.30pm.
The evening will also feature kids’ rides, a hog roast, a barbecue, bouncy castles, hot food and mulled wine. All the proceeds will go to local charities. Entry is £3 for adults and £1 for children.
