The Janice Sutton Theatre School has been reflecting on another ‘successful’ new year show. The troupe put on its latest ‘Colour My World’ spectacular on several days in the first week of January.

Over 130 talented performers took part. Janice Sutton has praised her team’s hard work. She said: “There were over 130 talented performers, from the Tiny Tots to the excellent and exciting energy routines of the experienced dancers (not forgetting Rocco as Toto). They all gave a superb performance, much to the delight of the audience.”

One sequence saw the cast take on the Wizard of Oz. Janice added: “Lauren Marshall gave a brilliant performance as Dorothy and took this show over the rainbow with a superb cast and had the audience spellbound, along with Claire Smith as the evil Witch of the West.

“Katie Meadows [gave] stunning singing performances as Glenda the Good, along with Dorothy, who on the way to Emerald City met her friends Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow and the adorable much-loved Munchkins.”
