A “hilarious new comedy” is set to stop off in Skegness for two shows this week.

Fifty Days of Grey, by the writer Andrew Lynford (Eastenders), will run at the Embassy Theatre on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm.

“When Fran and Sandra discover ‘Mummy Porn’, they embark on a hilarious journey of self discovery,” said a spokesperson. “As they bake their cakes for the dreaded 2012 Jubilee street party they begin to realise what is going on behind the net curtains in their very own street - it seems everybody is ‘doing it’ in lots of different ways, with varying degrees of success.

“Set against the backdrop of the summer of 2012, these girls ultimately win gold in this affectionate and funny new comedy starring Sue Hodge (Mimi in Allo Allo) and Julie Fox (The Rocky Horror Show),” they added.

Tickets cost £14 (or £13 for over 60s).

The show contains mild adult content.
